Post-mortem.

Hallelujah! SPM is over! Has been for almost 2 weeks now and nobody can imagine the amount of relief I feel. Eventhough it's been 2 weeks, I still feel super relived. Guess I've been under a lot of pressure for such a long time (guess its been 2 years through cheer and interact

Everyone talks about how life after SPM, where once your papers end, you're just so clueless about what you want to do. I partially agree. I recently took up an offered internship at an event management company and have been working there for a week now. I just finished working on a tournament for a client.

To be honest, I didn't expect much out of this internship cause I'm only 17 and I've heard many stories about internships where interns don't do much but make coffee and photocopy documents for their colleagues but I've been up and about everyday and probably spend an average of 4 hours in the office! I've actually been on the field a lot and it's only been a week! Definitely a really good experience.

It feels like I'm doing IU day all over again only instead of having a time span of 1-2 months, I have a time span of 1 week! Not only that, but instead of spreading awareness/ doing it for charity, I'm working with actually clients and 'playing' with money. It's pretty scary since I constantly think about how the client would feel everytime I make a move, like what if I screw things up? But I thank god that it didn't rain until after the event and that the client was absolutely thrilled with the tournament. On the plus side, I judged for the cheerleading category and I even got a momento for it! (:

Unfortunately, I don't exactly have time to head out, spend time with family & friends let alone have some me time. But I still appreciate and feel so thankful to be blessed with an opportunity like this.

Til the next time I have the time
