Poppin' Cooking

So a couple've nights back, my sisters and I decided to open up a packet of Poppin' Cooking to make!

Incase some of you may not know, poppin cooking is basically 'mini meals' that you make with the products given inside. Normally in the form of powder where you'll have to mix in water. Depending on what you buy, they may also give a piece of 'dough' (Its actually sweet with chewing gum texture) that you have to mould. There's actually another one called 'Konapun' which is practically the same thing as poppin'cooking, the only difference is that konapun is just for show and the fun of it, where as poppin cooking has a major plus, its actually edible!

We bought 2 packets of ramen with gyoza because that was the only flavour there, unfortunately. We bought them at Empire in subang for RM15 for 2! Pretty good deal if you ask me. If you ship them over or directly buy them from S'pre, its RM20 for 1 PACKET. And from what I've seen, they been selling 1 packet for RM12 at other stores so I must say that this was a great deal!

As for flavour, obviously this isn't the only flavour. There are other cool flavours like sushi, desserts like doughnuts and biscuits and stuff.

So we started off with a packet of soup mix, noodle mix, a small piping bag, gyoza dough and sprinkles!

Unless you're japanese or CAN read japanese, You're probably going to wing it cause all the instructions are in japanese. We estimated about 1 cover of water to each packet.

As for the piping bag, you've gotta poke your own hole. BUT, they do give you a toothpick to do so.

That's Leanne squeezing out the ramen into the soup. It gets firmed instantly, like freaking amazeballs. The Japanese are freaking geniuses.

So as Leanne was making the ramen, Callie and I decided to do the Gyoza!

My freaking fail gyoza, but look how cute and tiny it is!

The finished product!
So the soup actually tasted like maggi mee soup and the ramen had a pretty good ramen texture to it. Gyoza however didn't taste like gyoza at all, BUT it was super sweet, exactly like those sugus sweets! And if you look closely at the picture, you can see that there are little details on the ramen bowl, how cute?!
