So my mum recently bought me my long awaited Benefit moisturiser! I didn't expect her to purchase toner for me though she did! I must admit, I haven't been doing much facial care this year. I long ran out of my 'Dear John Benefit moisturiser' and I never really had the time to do anything cause I'd either be to busy to bother, pass out on my bed or I'd just be too comfortable/lazy to move.
Yes, this is my Dear John moisturiser. Sadly, they have stopped production of the product. Yes, I am freaking sad because this was theeeeee best moisturiser I have ever used in my life. Period. I soon found out that Benefit created 'Dear John 2.0' Obviously they didn't call it that, but it was a new and improved version of the product.

I've only been using them for a few days and DAMN ITS GOOD. No joke.
First we have the moisture prep toning lotion. Love the packaging, uber pretty!
Simple to apply and super refreshing. All you need is a piece of cotton wool to slap on a thin layer. You don't even have to apply much to feel the effects! Not to mention the smell is really fresh, sweet yet at the same time musky and strong. Currently having a really bad cold and I can even smell gist's of it! And to top it off, it has SPF 15 PA++ !
My first impression of the bottle was actually ' Oh no! I'm going to break it sooner or later' but it definitely fooled me, its actually a plastic bottle that seriously looks like glass. It even felt like glass the first few times I held it. I somehow found out it was plastic when I well, dropped it on my bathroom counter.
Next we have Total Moisture Facial Cream.
I must admit, this is even better than Dear John! Its super smooth! It gives an extra moisturising boost to your skin and leaves it feeling super smooth and super soft. Though it feels a little sticky/oily for the first 15 minutes, it gives fantastic texture after. Again, the smell is really fragrant even with my blocked nose. Sadly it doesn't have SPF like the toner but still works wonders for the skin. Not only that but this moisturiser can also be used as eye brightening cream! I've really bad dark circles and I've only been using it for a few days so I guess the effects hasn't really shown yet.
That's how smooth and thick the moisturiser is.
Overall, all I can say is I absolutely adore Benefit products and these 2 no doubt definitely lived up to my expectations! Can't wait to get my hands on other products!
